It is also an opportunity to see the traditional dress as smart ladies clad in traditional Thai costumes welcome the visitors and guide them quickly to moving carts on rails. We went to the one in Bangkok and they are both the same. Nice jewels if you can afford them but they are nice enough not to push you into buying. Worth a look even if just for the free taxi ride.
This stop was included on a Sunday tour and only the store area was open. However the merchandise was delightful to look at.

O.K. but it is actually a very big jewellery shop so beware of that before you go. The museum is not open at all times so check with the tour arranger if that is what you are interested in

This tour is many times better than the one in Bangkok. There is a small train that takes you through the makings of the Gems. Its a small nice ride.
