Good chance to take pictures of old French colonial railroad. Can climb up on an old engine. This Railway station is small but its fine and unique. Maybe they need to maintain more the in-side area of this station and make it cleaner. It is good to have more dustbin as well. Some visitor just simply throw rubbish because of... More

We wanted to see the station, ride the train and visit the raved about Chua Linh Phuoc pagoda and we easily managed it all in a morning. We caught a taxi from our hotel to the station (tip:have the name of what you want in Vietnamese because the drivers more often than not can't speak English) for less than $5.... More

Very nice, beautiful views, it will cost you nothing, and you can have very nice walk along the railroad itself.

Go around 13:00 pm because the train leaves only when they sold enough tickets. The train stops for forty minutes, not enough time to see the pagoda and climb back down, Yet enough for a coffee stop with fellow passengers.

A quaint railway station with the opportunity for visitors to enjoy a 7km trip to the village of Trai Mat. The train travels through farm land mainly devoted to the growing of flowers. At Trai Mat there is plenty of time to explore the village with its local businesses and a small market . The village is also home to... More

If you are nearby it's worth a look. Architecture very French and there's a steam train you can climb on.

The Dalat Train Station is a nice looking building...just a tourist train goes from there (I didn't ride it). An old steam locomotive sits outside, plus carriages. As another member posted below, the station is a huge "unrealised opportunity." It's a great space that more should be done with!

There's not many railway stations where you can wander at will in and out of the building, locomotives and carriages as well as across the tracks, but this is one that's well worth it for an hour. The exterior is certainly photogenic, but from the interior of the station house you can really appreciate the fascinating stained glass windows. The... More
