Craft Link is a win-win-win place to shop. 1) The local artisans win, as they are paid a fair wage for the handmade items they produce. (Fair Trade Federation member--scrutinized carefully.) 2) The shopper has a wide variety of products available in one stop, so this is a timesaver if you are taking gifts home for friends and relatives. 3)... This place is amazing, just like all the other reviewers have said! beautiful things and ethically sound practice. high quality items at very reasonable prices and feel good knowing your dollars are going back to the artisans. remember they close from 12.15 - 1.15pm for lunch, so don't arrive at 12.20pm like we did!

Lovely selection of proper hand-made scarfs, textiles, bags etc. at very reasonable prices (eg. silk/linen scarves 5 USD, bags 20 USD). Visited on my first day and wish I would have bought all my presents here!

We visited this with Temple of Literature. Hope we visited this first when we arrived in Hanoi. Very good quality products with reasonable prices. We bought bags, purses and cellphone cases and my kids love all of them. We had seen all their stores near the Temple and also the stores located in the second floor. We had a hard... More

Craft-Link is a Vietnamese non-profit organisation (and member of the International Fair Trade Association) which represents traditional artisans by selling their handmade items at fair-trade prices. There are many gorgeous items ranging from silk scarves through to handbags, clothes, home wares and trinkets - something for everyone at a very reasonable price, and you can be assured of the quality... All the items here were of high quality and handmade by local artisans from various parts of Vietnam. I enjoyed myself there so much didnt realise how quickly time passed but was reminded by not so patient anymore husband! Bought quite a bit here and on arrival home and pleased with these items the most of all I bought in... More

After spending an hour in Craft-Link we had little interest in shopping elsewhere. We found many high quality items at good prices. We were also happy to support its work with local artisans. You can combine shopping in Craft-Link with a visit to the Temple of Literature which is just across the street and around the corner.

Friends living locally insisted we go immediately to shop for quality souvenirs and gifts here in a two shop stop without the hassle of much walking, bartering and bargaining which I find difficult. The result was some wonderful, unique purchases in the air conditioned comfort whilst being free to select my purchases at leisure. I very much appreciated this and... More

A great place to pick up souvenirs and decently priced too, especially since the place helps fund local artisans and traditional cottage industry. When you get to the 1st floor go straight to the back of the room, head out onto the balcony and you’ll see a door to another room that houses beautiful silk purses and handbags. A second... More

I wish I had known about this place as soon as I arrived in Hanoi. It's got many ethnic and beautiful pattern work textiles, accessories, clothes, gift items, etc at more than fair prices. You will find many similar items in the Old Quarter at double or triple the price and ones that are not good quality. Craft Link is... More
