Wow! The photos were great, some very graphic. Some of the photos Not suitable for young children but there was an excellent play area for them. Really happy that we went there. Definitely would recommend it to others.

This museum is all photos taken by war correspondence on both sides of the war. It can be a little gruesome but war is. The story gives a different slant to the war and why the americans were there. Very interesting. Give yourself at least a couple of hours, possible three to cover all three floor and read the captions....

This museum has an interesting exhibition of photos from the Vietnam war documenting the terrible events of the war. I spent about 2 hours at this museum but was left feeling a little disappointed for a few reasons. Firstly, I was hoping to learn a few more details about the war and politics involved but this museum focuses on documenting...

This was a very interesting view of the Vietnam War (or the American War as they call it) from the Vietnamese perspective. It displays the horrors of war in numerous, sobering and disturbing ways, but unfortunately is extremely one-sided, showing only American actions but none of the horrific things the North Vietnamese did. It was depressing after a while, and...

Outside the War Remnants Museum is worth browsing around if you are interested in 1970s US military equipment. However inside was good enough to wait out the rain. It is mostly just pictures showing how terrible the Vietnam War was. Don't get me wrong it is eye opening, but just pictures of death and destruction.
This museum will remind you just what a dirty war this was and the terrible astrocities it left behind. It might be a bit one-sided, but remember you are in Vietnam so they are hardly going to be siding with the US on this one (oddly enough). Really interesting and thought provoking. This was a big part of Vietnam's history...

Americans are not really taught the whys and whats about the "Vietnam War". Yes, this museum presents only the Vietnamese point of view but we need to see how the rest of the world viewed this terrible chapter in American foreign policy. This museum makes you think. And that is a good thing.
I spent a couple of hours here in May, 2012. Mostly photographs; some very graphic. It was "OK". I could hear people around me saying, "that is only the Vietnamese side of it." Of course it is; but there are 3 sides to EVERY story!!! On my way out, a Vietnamese lady approached me and asked if I needed a...

This museum is 'in your face' and pulls no punches. The American War devastated Vietnam and so many lives were lost - this place is a very sober reminder of the futility of war. A must visit, but be prepared to see some shocking images.
It was a good venue to show what war can do to innocent people and the damage it can cause to the future
