I have bought the 10 visit pass for a discounted volunteer rate and regularly go to yoga and pilates classes. Pilates are in a neighboring street in the Samata studio - a pleasant air conditioned environment with communal equipment so the only thing you need is to turn up. The staff is professional, even though it sometimes takes time to... More

The 2 best teachers Alison and Oskar now have a new studio www.yogaphnompenh.com. I recommend you find them instead. Classes at Nataraj were OK.....but the toilets and changing area were not nice....there were often changes to the schedule or class cancellations....the place has a weird vibe....claims to be an NGO.....but does not seem to be living up to its promise.... As others have said, this is not an obvious visitor attraction, but if you need some time away from the hustle of the city or feel the need to stretch your body (quite hard to do in a city where walking is not such a pleasant option), this is the ideal spot. There are classes everyday with different teachers leading... More

I go to regular classes at NataRaj Yoga and I like it more and more. The centre is in a great location in central BKK1 (on street 302) and the studio is lovely. There is also a nice big roof terrace where some classes are held - both are light and airy (or as airy as you get in Phnom... More

Nataraj is an excellent yoga school in a quiet location in Phnom Penh, and is a popular choice among expats. The teachers cater for all levels and it's great to have a mix of foreign and Cambodian teachers, and the classes are always held in English. They have 10 pass cards you can buy, or alternatively attend the community class... More

I haven't taken any open classes at Nataraj, but I did have a few private classes with Oskar and he was fantastic - patiently helped me refine and get the most from my poses, worked on my breathing, added great new poses that fit well with my routine. The cost was shockingly reasonable. The classes with him have been a... More

I've done many challenging classes here but it also has beginner classes, workshops and yoga trips away. It is set in an airy, fan-cooled colonial villa in BKK1. NataRaj has set up a NGO to provide yoga and training to the local community as a way of assisting those affected by traumatic life events and Cambodia's recent history.

I joined one session at 12.20 and it was great! Though it's quite hot over noon in the studio, but still, good sweat and wish I could do their retreat at the weekend but I had to leave PP. Still remember the asanas and do it everyday now.

I did two classes here during the week I had in Phnom Penh - it takes about 5 - 10 minutes walk from the Independence monument (but get a moto if leaving after dark). The classes are held in an airy room (but you will work up a sweat) and mats and props are provided. At $9 a class, it's... More
