Some of our coach tour party did not see the reason for diverting here instead of spending more time in Bursa but it was interesting to see the surrounding countryside with all its mounds. The Tomb is not very interesting, except for the wooden beams. The museum is more interresting, not only what is on the inside--which is rather limited--but the mosiacs on the outside, which I fear many people miss. The area leading to the site was interesing for the various crops, including sugr beets that were being harvested.
