Entrance fee required and snorkel and mask rental available for about $8 USD, no fins available. The entrance fee allows you to use a beach chair, rent a locker, and access the hot water shower (so worth the entrance ticket price!) The sea water is salty thus you don't really need fins for snorkeling (unless you want to dive deep).... More

I liked the beach and the snorkeling. Worth the $35 NIS admission price. I did not try the eating facilities so can't comment on those.

You can get up close to some of the most beautiful fish in the world. It is clearly a park and the damage is obvious, but without paying for a boat to take you to a more remote place, this is excellent. You can rent equipment (not fins) at the gate.

The beachs in town and by the hotels and malls are crowded and commercial. Coral beach is about a 13 minute bus ride out of the city, and it is just the opposite: uncrowded (hardly anybody there when we were there, and if you walked five minutes away from the entrance, nobody was there), and completely uncommercial. There is a... More

The one & only beach you can have some quiet during the high season of Eilat. No disco trash facilities, seems better to pay the low entrance fees at the Coral Beach & have some quiet :)

What a great place to visit for a day or just a few hours. Initially I was concerned about the quality of the coral given the amount of cargo ships packing in and out of the two major ports. The underwater viewing deck really gave you a feel for the underwater coral and the different types of fish feeding off... More

This is a great place to view wonderful coral and colorful fish. There's plenty of room for visitors so it doesn't seem crowded. The reef is reached by a walkway above the water so that the reef is not disturbed.

I thought a nature reserve would be the best place to see great coral and fish but was really disappointed. The reefs are roped off so there is no getting close and only a smattering of fish. the beach was lovely and the view over the red sea to Jordan was great.

This Nature Reserve is a blessing since all the other beaches are crowded, noisy and very dirty. Fishes are very close and visible in the water. Beach is clean and maintained. Minus is that it closes at 17:00.
