Very well laid out. Could show more of the origins of Saudi Arabia. Good range of different exhibits.

I love history, archaeology and ancient. This is a place definitely to explore the early civilisation of Saudi Arabia!
Worth the detour if you have time. In a fort in downtown. It shows you how fast the country developed and how far it comes from. It also gives a good idea on the Saoud family history. Nice museum..no brochures to guide you but there were marks on the floor. Lots to read, see and enjoy. Wasn't crowded and you could watch videos in English along the way.

Films are mainly in English and Arabic.

The National Museum in in Riyadh give more information about Saudi Arabia and Islam. Need minimum 4-5 hours to have complete look in and around the museum.

National Museum in Riyadh is one of the best museums I have ever visited. Unfortunately, my time there was limited. The story is logical, and it is easy to follow. The building is beautiful and the surroundings interesting.
