I think they are repairing the towers now but when I went they were tired. It is an interesting place to visit when it is finished. You can see for miles but only go on a clear day. They have soem old pictures of what the towers went through during the war.

A prime attraction of Kuwait. Any one arriving in Kuwait for work or leisure are sure to wind up reaching this place of interest. Has been here for a long time. As mentioned by other visitors, it requires some maintenance by means of cleaning and some painting works here & there. Cheers.

Went May 4 ,2013 but the towers were closed for renovations so we couldn't go up. Sorry, I don't know when they will reopen. The outside of the towers are pretty grubby so perhaps they will clean them up as part of the renovations. Still, they are certainly worth a stop as they are located in a lovely waterfront park... Kuwait Towers is the most identifiable Kuwaiti landmark. It's visually interesting, and worth a visit if you find yourself in Kuwait.

Like pretty much everything here in Kuwait it's run down and dirty, its hard to beleive that a rich country like Kuwait is soooooooooo dirty. Kuwait offers next to zero attractions beside Malls and Fast Food Restaurants, the beaches are covered with garbage , the highways are a mix of destruction-derby and death-race. Most roads in rural ares aren't paved... More

I lived and worked in Kuwait for 2 years. The Kuwait Towers is the most famous landmark in Kuwait City. The design is excellent, being both very modern and very Arabic at the same time. It is very close to the sea and from the top you have a beautiful and breattaking view over the Persian Gulf and Kuwait City.... More

The Kuwait Towers are the iconic symbol of Kuwait. It might not quite be what the Sydney Opera House is to Sydney, but you get the idea. So it's worth going to have a look, but don't expect too much. Especially now (March 2013) since they are closed for what looks like a much-needed repair and restoration. They are dirty... More

....but up close it looks run down up close and the towers and the area needs a restauration. When coming to Kuwait this is a must see but don't set your expectations to high.

I'm not sure if you can really call these towers tourist attractions, they're just water tanks decorated with stones and tiles to make them look fancy. If you're passing by, take a look but it's not worth going out of your way to see.

This is a known landmark of Kuwait since there i nothing better than this to showcase this structure can be seen on probably all advertisements of Kuwait. It is nothing but a couple of water tanks placed high up and decorated with stones. There is an entry fee and you get to see a 360 degree view of the city... More
