I'm not big into sightseeing but this place was a must. The carpet in the main prayer hall is the same acreage as 4 soccer pitches and was made by hand
The Grand Mosque was beyond description; beautiful yet full of reverance.Everyone should make the time to visit.
Fantastic spectacle, which is a must see if visiting Abu Dhabi. We had a tour guide as we were travelling in a large group, and this is recommended to anyone who isn't already knowledgeable about the mosque or the Islamic faith in general. Absolutely stunning and inspiring. All visitors (of all faiths) to Abu Dhabi should ensure they don't miss a visit here.
Absoloutly beautiful inside. Women have to cover their heads and everyone has to remove their shoes. Best time to go is dusk when lights start to go on. It is incredibly beautiful. The mosque is so white it reminds me of sugar icing!

The workmanship, the details and the vastness of this Mosque has impressed...

Helpful Hint: The mosque is not open to the public on...
