If you want to do shopping in Chongqing, this is the place! You can find everything from here you need and you don't need. It is not so far from the city center, prop. 10-15 min. by taxi depend on traffic. Lots of people and traffic jam

Spent an afternoon there in March and I recommend you to go there just to spend time. See old grandfathers and young children play with kites, buy pineapple and other fruits, walk down the stairs to the shore and look over the Yangtse and Jialingrivers over to the other district, photograph the sightseeing boats along the rivers etc.

A square built where two rivers flowing through the city joins. Lot of construction activity going but, but it still offers a great view. If you like, u can take a ride through the river using the ferries.

We went to check out the place where the Yangzi river and the Jialing river meet up and this is the same place where you board the cruise for the three gorges dam.
