Liked the scene and beauty of some areas . Some were natural while others were man made. Chinese food was served every where would have loved some choices of western food too

I went here with some friends in december 2012. We had hired a private guide to take us there on a day trip.
This place was truly amazing, its a forest of stone on the top of a mountain, doesnt get more unique than that. Our guide told us that it was very unusual that he got to take tourist...

It is not far away from the downtown of Chongqing so that we could travel there and return to Chongqing in one day. But i think it is a little tense that actually we should have been there for two days. I suggest you to stay 2-3 days there that you won't feel tired.

The best time to travel there is summer. In summer, Heishan Valley is so cool that you could fled from the urban life.
