Our mission is to lead hungry souls from around the world to wander off the beaten path and taste some of Hong Kong’s favorite foods. We have researched throughout the city, tried numerous eateries, talked to restaurant owners, before putting together an itinerary that features many of the locals’ most-loved foods. Along our excursion, your Foodie guide will also lead you to discover some of Hong Kong’s other flavors — its history, culture, architecture and neighborhoods. We will also show you some of Hong Kong’s unique features and what makes our hometown so special. Our goal is for everyone to return to these neighborhoods with confidence and take advantage of the wide range of food and cultural options that our city has to offer. We are the only food tour company licensed by the Hong Kong Travel Agents Registry and we are a member of Travel Industry Council and Hong Kong Association of Travel Agents. What a great afternoon!! Our excellent guide took us for a very interesting walk around central Hong Kong. We stopped at 5 places on the way - noodle soup, dim sum, sugar cane juice, tea and custard tart shop - and ate some of the very best Chinese/Cantonese food ever!! We also got lots of interesting social history information! One... More

The Sham Shui Po is the new tour by this group and was a perfect gift given to my husband and I as we arrived to live and work in HK. The Sham Shui Po area is a bit more local and the food different to the central one. It was an excellent tour in an area we probably wouldn't... More

My husband and I were in Hong Kong last month for only a few days and decided to check out Hong Kong Foodie Tasting Tours after all of the great reviews. We didn’t know fully what to expect, but wanted a combination of a food and a history tour and this was a perfect choice. The tour was very intimate... More

Savannah? Was our tour leader, and she was fantastic! Really knowledgable, and was all in all, a fantastic leader! The food tastings were fantastic, taking us around to a few places, and sampling the food was great. Just the right size'd food portions, so by the trips end - you're full! No dinner required! The only thing perhaps is to... More

We spent a terrific afternoon in Hong Kong with Silvana of Hong Kong Foodie Tasting Tours. Our first stop was a wonton shop with delicious shrimp wontons. This was followed by the Roast Meat shop, my favorite. We then sampled sugarcane juice, which is supposed to be quite healthy for you. Next was a visit to a tea shop where... More

I had an afternoon free and decided to try this tour. I like to try new food experiences but like to know what I am actually putting in my mouth. The group was mixed European/American and very friendly which made the experience much better. The tour guide was excellent and did not confine her commentary to the food but ranged... More

Super-knowledgeable and engaging tour guide, spot on with the restaurants they picked. Not just about food: history, sociology, architecture. Highly recommend.

This was a superb tour in every aspect. It should be seen as a benchmark for others. The meeting spot was civilised, safe, comfortable and weather protected in the lobby of a nice business tower. We had 9 tourists on our day, 3 of them were my husband, 9 year old daughter and I. Silvana was absolutely lovely, intelligent, informative,... More

One of the best things I did in Hong Kong! The guide was wonderful, too, very knowledgeable and personable. We had a full group (of 12), and were delayed by several heavy rainstorms, and she kept up a good attitude during the entire time. I landed at the airport at 6 pm, and did this tour at 2 pm: a... knowledgeable tour guide and great opportunity to tour the city on foot; raining hard, but we had a great group that hung in for the duration. I enjoyed every bite, and all of the knowledge shared along the way. Highly recommended!
