Okay - not thar big of deal. So we order the burgers, mike wirh cheese... More

Get a bailies milkshake. Add a steak sandwich and life is good. What I live about this bar is just that. It is a good old fashion local bar with real pub grub at decent pub prices.

Nice small bar. Expect an burger restaurant and not too much more. Prices are ok for Hong Kong. If you are on the island anyway it is a good choice.

Today my sister and I went to Mui Wo to look around. From previous experience, I headed straight towards China Bear for the best Mediterranean Lamb, the perfect example of a good blend of sweet and savory. The day was hot with an average of 34 degrees but the meal was excellent all the same. Highly recommend for the adventure... More

I spent some time here and stayed in a hotel down the street from this fantastic hangout. Every time I came back to Lantau from Hong Kong, stopping in here became compulsory after the first visit! The owner was very friendly and his aim was to make sure everyone had a goo time. Succeed he did! I have a golf... More

Jump on the outlying Island ferry and head over to Mui Wo. A 40 minute ferry taking you to the greener parts of Hong Kong. When you get off the ferry on the left side is the China Bear. A fantastic open front bar and restaurant with everything that you would need to relax on the waterfront. Outside seating and... More

Have visited this bar on a few occasions now on my annual trip to the Hong Kong Sevens, as my friend lives on Lantau Island. It is a lovely location to sit outside with views across to Hong Kong Island. It does a very good breakfast especially when you have a hangover. I would recommend a visit to Lantau as... More
