I don't know why Trip Advisor still has this spot on it's list, but the cave has been closed for a long time already. Long ago, tourists (mostly American then) came to the caves and killed alot of bats. Some shot them when they were flying out of the cave to feed. It's all closed now.. and sometimes you can... More

I didnt see lots of bats but the cave itself is worth going to. It's scary at first but gets exciting the moment you enter the cave.

don't let the official tour guide badge fool you, this is a country specializing in knock-offs . The cave itself is pretty cool, but there is no easy, or safe way in or out. I have crocs on and it was extremely slippery and steep, one wrong slip and you would be a statistic. This place would benefit by some... More

This was my first bat cave experience, so I'm unjaded in saying that it was an awesome one. The trek through the jungle is ok, but the cave itself is steep, slippery when wet, and fairly dangerous on the best of days. So naturally my girlfriend and I were interested in doing it. There's a pool at the bottom of... More

This was really cool, but quiet dangerous - you should have proper hiking shoes on to go deep into the cave. It is incredibly hot and smells like, well, poop. There is bat poop everywhere, be prepared to get VERY DIRTY. It was a very neat adventure, but I dont think I would do it again. The Crystal Cave (next... More

Many people like to go to this location, but in my opinion its a waste of time I rate it as average as others may like it. To get to the caves, you must deal with a myriad of hustlers trying to charge you for this or for that or in some case trying to take advantage of unwary tourists.... More

The 2 of us hired a tricycle from White beach to the bat cave which took about 15 minutes. There was a shonky tourist info stand which was empty so the driver went straight past it. Another guy on a motorbike came up alongside and showed the driver where to go. At the top of the hill (the tricycle couldn't... More

Once again on the other side of Boracay, we went on a batcave tour with this local. truly, this is a disgrace. There are no more bats, whats left is the stenge of a thousand bat droppings hardered and dried up from years ago. I hear there is another cave callled crystal cave which is a lot better
