We lived in Holiday Inn Atrium so the River was close. It's a little bit away from touristic Clarke Que so this part of the River is quiet but still beautiful. Very pleasant to walk in the evening.

They have good boat and offering good route. That's all. The guidance was came from the audio. But I have to complained about the route information. I aboarded from fullerton and they landed on clarke quay. I tought we would be landed on the same bay/place, but we didnot. And they didnt inform it at the ticket outlet.
My wife and I took the boat ride around Marina Bay and up the river. Commentary was informative, and the trip provides a unique view of the city. I was particularly taken with the old bridges and the small sculptures along the bank. See if you can spot the cats and the boys jumping into the river on the left...

I went on a nighttime boat ride on the river as part of a tour - it was one of the nicest parts of the tour - really relaxing, gorgeous views, lovely breeze coming off the water. Not sure what it's like in the daytime, but night time was beautiful, to look at all the famous buildings near the water.
We visit Singapore from time to time and almost always find ourselves walking along the Singapore River between the area of Clark Quay and Marina Bay. This is a nice area to spend some time when in S'pore.

My girl was doing a project on bridges and the teacher brought the class to cruise around Singapore River. It was so memorable for her and I decided to bring her there again. Of course, this time, with the whole family. It was really a relaxing and memorable experience for her and my boy. Not only did they get to...

The walk along the river is an excellent way to discover some of the most interesting places in Singapore. . Like the Merlion, Boat Quay and Clarke Quay, where all the restaurant's are located, needless to say not to be missed. ..If walking is not on the cards you can do the Hippo tour. One can also do a boat...

The Singapore river is still a dirty piece of s.... Save your time and money and do not get on one of these boat rides or duck tours
It does not matter w when or why you are in Singapore. Any time is a good tine for a walk up and down. You can also do this by boat. The sights and sounds are entertaining day or night. I am always drawn to this river on every visit.
There are so many excellent resturants to choose from at Boat Quay & Clark Quay + the opposite side of the river. Just walking past day or night is enthralling for 'foodies'.
Pick a style and sit down outside to enjoy the ambience. You would only go inside if it's raining.
If you love (cheap) Asian food, this is the...
