In a city full of buildings and is more often than not hot and humid, Gardens by the Bay is a pleasant surprise. The amazing Supertrees are already spectacular, but the real gem is inside, where you will find beautiful flora from around the world. You can spend a whole day in air-conditioned comfort. I consider Gardens by the Bay... More

The tulips festival was on at the Flower Dome when we visited - we saw lots of beautiful red, yellow, white and pink tulips. As at every other attraction in Singapore, there were numerous avenues to learn more about the plants here too. But the star attraction is still the cloud forest, with its beautiful waterfall and exotic flora. The... More

We visited as a party of 4, 2 of whom are very much into their flora. I personally am not too much into plants and flowers, but it was an OK way to spend a couple of hours. When we visited, the main attraction was a tulip exhibition. Very nice, but as it was coming to the end of the... More

Singapore has done it again by creating an oasis on this tropic island. Get there in the late afternoon to avoid the scorching heat, and hang around till about 7.30pm for the light show. A great way to spend an evening before venturing over to Marina Bay Sands for dinner options.

If you want to take pictures that seem empty of people, go in the early morning. Both the buildings and the contents are attractive. It's not only beautiful for the eyes, as there are many things to learn about flora and more.

2 very sizeable domes of near 150 feet high providing a massive variety of trees/ plants/ shrubs and cacti plus a very tall waterfall. With a temperature of around 60 degrees it provides some welcome relief from the heat and humidity of the outdoor climate. Good food available. Use Bayfront as nearest station and 5 minute walk to Marina Bay... More

We arrived about 1pm and saw The Cloud Forest which was amazing. Then watched the light and sound show, beautiful. Visited the Flower Dome, unfortunately by this time it was dark and it is only lit with rather small spotlights and I feel not worth seeing, would love to visit it in daylight to obtain full impact. Much to see... More

We took the Circle line (yellow line) going here, exit at Promenade MRT (CC4) then change to the Platform B, then exit at Bayfront. There are directions at the MRT exit going to the gardens by the Bay. There is available elevator upon exit. There is also shuttle available that costs S$2 that will take you to the entrance. But...
