From where I am from, there are no parks or gardens so we definitely enjoyed this. Bring your picnic mat, food and good book to read. The kids will also love all that space to run around safely. Take the cab going there so you can do all the walking in the park.

When visiting any city we try to visit gardens as some relief from traffic and noise. We were certainly not disappointed here. The botanic gardens are really nice, with superb gardens and lots of nature to enjoy. It's not very close to central Singapore, but it's definitely a great place to visit, especially if you want to see a different side of the city. Also, there are good restaurants there.

Brilliant Gardens with a great variety of trees and flowers also lots of wild life about look for the monitors the appear any where within the gardens we saw one by the music stand also the large cat fish in the large lake (so much to see )

Went for a walk round with a family friend who lives in Singapore, had such a lovely morning walking round the botanic gardens, also went round the orchard garden and had a yummy lunch in the cafe :)

Really nice place nestled close to the centre of Singapore. Lots of varied areas to stroll through and plenty of seating to take a break. Reasonably priced restaurant in there too. Free of charge so very much worth visiting to de-stress from the hustle and bustle. Taxi fare is minimal from anywhere in central Singapore.

Singapore's version of Holland Tulips ... a must visit venue for flower lovers .... Do bring along your macro lenses for some of their interesting exhibits from micro 1cm sized to 30cm flowery

I go to the botanic gardens for running, to play with my kids and to eat out. The gardens are perfectly manicured. Great place to spend time in Singapore

Beautiful gardens, lots of benches to sit and appreciate, quite a collection of plants and trees, labeled so you know what you're looking at. The gardens are separated into areas, free maps show where everything is. All is free, except the National Orchid Garden.

The Botanic Gardens is the crown jewel of Singapore NParks fantastic job of creating green places in Singapore. A must visit for those who enjoy lush green parks and to see people from all walks of life in Singapore come
