The tour of the museums at La Azotea is a fabulous way to spend a couple of hours, and the coffee at the end fo the tour is exceptional. The tour is a great value and very informative. The transport was reliable and the staff all friendly and helpful. It's a must-do for all visitors!

We were picked up by a van at the Parque Central and brought to the hacienda style cultural center and coffee plantation. We were given a tour of the culture and traditions of the Mayan through different booths and a 10 minute audio video in a small theater. Then introduce to the history and process of coffee production, went inside... More

We started off with the tour of the music museum, which was fairly interesting, however it was a little bit difficult to understand the guide. It felt a little bit cheesy... However, the coffee tour made up for it. It was very informative and interesting. If you are interested in the coffee process, this is a great place to learn... More

This tour is very well organized from beginning to end. A free shuttle bus picked us up and returned us to Central Park. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. I learned a lot about the coffee production in Guatemala from beans on a tree to the final product. I even bought some in the store at the end of the... More

It is a short 20 min trip from the street in front of Antigua's Cathedral by free transportation (minivan) provided by La Azotea. I think it runs every hour or 1/2 h. The place is very well maintained, has very professional and friendly staff and English speaking guides. The ticket allow one to visit the coffee museum on a guided... More

For someone who loves coffee this place was really interesting. i never knew how much work went into getting that morning fix. It is a really great experience and they have a cool museum that shows neat cultural things about Guatemala. At the end of the tour you are encouraged to try free samples of their homegrown coffee and look... More

Interesting museum and tour explaining coffee production. Good gift shop and free sample of Guatemalan coffee which is very smooth.

We picked up the free minibus at the Parque Central and spent a couple of hours at the Azotea coffee museum. We took guided tours of both the coffee and music museums. The tour guides spoke English as well as Spanish and were knowledgeable about their respective museums. For instance, I never knew that the most expensive coffee in the... More

They give an interesting tour of the coffe growing and processing operation, and there's a delightful museum of musical instruments on the site, focussed mainly on the marimba. The coffee tastes excellent too and can be mailed overseas.

As Guatemala has the third best coffee in the world (our guide told us this), it is definitely a good idea to visit a "finca". The Azotea was a special experience. The tour is informative and enjoyable. There are good guides and a shop where you can buy coffee and presents.
