Very good infrastructure although something is still under construction. Quiet place in the middle and on the branches, stunning park inside the "trunk" with monorail moving above. Many luxury cars and remarkable Atlantis with aquarium and big water park on top of this.

On the drive up, take in the sceneary and breath taking architecture. The gardens are beautiful, and one cannot believe you are in the desert

The villas on the palm are all amazing. We rented on frond b, not the best but still well worth trying. The sea is clean warm and safe. The private beach is just brilliant.

There you will feel the innovation and the power of the UAE. The Island is huge and a lot of buildings are there. The hotel, ATLANTIS, is amazing and really huge!

The monorail is convenient, but only runs down the center "stem" of the palm. We hired a taxi instead, and drove around to Rixos Hotel, the southern end of the outside palm leaf. Apparently it is an island residence. You can only walk into it if you stay in the residence. The Atlantis is great to view towards from the Palm Monorail at the Gate.

I've been to the Palm twice and it's cool but not that amazing. Both times I only stayed for maybe 30 mins. It's just one of those places where you should at least check out while in Dubai but not necessarily spend a lot of time. BTW - pricey food here
