This place is one of the amazing temples I've been to. I was in awe when i saw the intricate carvings. It transports you back in the 12th century when it was their capital city. i had the chance to climb the top temple and watch the sunset. Breathtaking!

Why would come to Siem Reap and not visit Angkor Wat? It must be why your here, and you won't be disappointed. There are other temples that are even more amazing, but the hours we spent here were enormously enjoyable. The size of the place is amazing and being one of the best cleared and restored sites, you get a...

The staff were ok but was amazed at the temple! I hope I can go back soon! The only thing that was irritating was people trying to sell you stuff. Ladies, make sure your knees are covered before going to the top of the temple as it is a requirement.

This is why everyone comes to Siem Reap, and it really is a site to see. It is recommended that one sees the temple at sun up, so that is what we did. Even though it was the off season there was quite a crowd. I don't know what I really expected, but I was a bit disappointed in the...

For those who availed of the one-day-temple-pass, I suggest you see Angkor Wat, Bayon & Tah Prohm. Local tuktuks for hire go for $15 usd per day for nearby temples. For Angkor Wat you will need a minimum of 1 & 1/2 hours. On our visit, there were ongoing restorations so some of the tarps & scaffoldings on site blocked...

The temples are just amazing. Angkor Wat being the main one though there are many dotted around. There is a real buzz about visiting this temple as it is the largest and the views from the road as you approach are breath taking.
We hired a tuk tuk and driver for the day which cost $18. He will then take...

This Hindu temple is very close to Siem Reap, part of the Angkor Archeological Park. It's in excellent shape. You can spend 1 hour or 5 hours exploring it. Don't miss the wall with the bas-relief friezes in the first level. Get a good guide to walk around and know what you're seeing. Terrific site.

Probably the most visited site, and no need to wonder why once visited. Unbvelievable view from the balloon, weather permitting. Quite a long walk, so wear comfortable shoes, and be prepared for those steps! They are so steep.
