Comparing to others, this is one of the well-maintained temple and surrounded by small lakes. you still can see the door panel with the carvings clearly.

This temple is approximately 30km out of Siem Reap, but well worth the visit. Amazing carvings and stone work.

There is exquisite decorative carving in pink sandstone, and the miniature proportions are a major highlight of Banteay Srei. Banteay Srei means “Citadel of the Women”. This temple is not so big. A lot of souvenir shop and restaurant outside the temple.
This is an amazing places, the ruins of the temple is admirable. You should not miss this place. Be sure to bring umbrella as protection for the heat of the sun.
