What else to say. Every time I see on of the wonders of the world, and I have seen quite a few, I tell myself . This is going to be a tourist trap. And every time, I am mesmerized by these marvelous buildings or sights. Taj Mahal is a must see, especially form the outside as the interior is... More

My wife and I visited Agra in April 2013. The Taj is best visited at sunset and sunrise as it changes colors during the day. Our driver took us at sunset to see the Taj from across the river. But before we did that we visited the baby Taj. It is weird because the baby Taj is not on the... More

The Taj is indeed one of the most beautiful buildings I have ever visited. It is breathtaking. We were here as part of a group so didn't have to bother with tickets or the like. But what I advise any visitor to do is make the effort, set your alarm early and get as near to the front of the... More

Visited here at the end of April and was pleasantly surprised by the lack of crowds. The Taj is spectacular. Seeing the building at close range you see the full beauty of it which is lost in photographs. It changes colour through the day. Although there were hawkers we just kept our heads down and avoided eye contact as advised... More

Only worthwhile place in AGRA - rest are rip-offs and dirty. Ofcourse, you pay the NRI tickets and hence they keep everything clean inside. The Taj Mahal is so beautiful that no description can do it justice. Best viewed at sunrise or sunset to see the play of light on the marble and inlay. Watch out for the "helpful" people who give you ideas for best photo ops and then expect to be paid. Remember to take as little personal items as possible. We... More

Must see when in Agra.We were there in low season. It is as stated by others, a place that you have to experience yourself. When arriving from Delhi, please take the expressway. Otherwise the trip is 5 hours iso 3. From the parking near the Taj you are directed to take a taxi/ horseride to the entrance. A walk will... More
