I saw the fort in Delhi..well this one is more impressive. Its a huge construction and there are so many things to see inside ..It shows alot about the history of India, best is visit it with a professional guide so you know what you're looking at. Not that far from the Taj M. you can even see The Taj... More

To know more about Taj Mahal and Shahjahan , you must go to the Agra Fort and here also you must take a guide , without guide at Taj or Fort , everything is useless . Guides are reasonable priced .

If you visit the Taj, this fort, the Delhi historical sites, and Jaipur, it really does connect all of the dots for the region's history. You will better appreciate how the Taj is a compilation of the architecture from several other structures. Also underlying the white marble is the sandstone this fort and the other historic buildings are built from.... More

Make sure that you have a reputatable, knowledgeable guide. They will be able to explain so much. The fort is not all open, but what is is still well-worth it. Plenty to see.

it is largely being used by the military - quite nice to see from outside but much less interesting touring around than some of the other forts i visited in India

It's a beautiful Fort, interesting places to see and take good pics. Great distant view from Taj. Don't let the pushing guides take your good mood out, as they did to me... I just don't wanted a guide and spend the visit trying to Be apart from them!

I visited Agra Fort right after visiting the Taj Mahal. It's just about a 5-minute drive from the Taj so it seemed worth checking out. This place a must-go to place if you love history and culture. More meaningful if you have a guide. We didn't get one when we visited. We just walked around and explored the huge grounds... More

This place is great for history lovers and those who have interest in old monuments and buildings. Although childrens may get bored as there is not much for them to do and specially if you go in the month of May it's very hot. so if you want to spend quality time with your passion, ensure you have enough time... We picked up our guide in Jaipur and he was with us for three days. During that time we did Jaipur, Agra, The Taj and Delhi. He was organized, knowledable and delightful to be with. His goal was to provide our group with extras that most groups may have missed. We could not recommend him more highly. He even helped... More
