To know more about Taj Mahal and Shahjahan , you must go to the Agra Fort and here also you must take a guide , without guide at Taj or Fort , everything is useless . Guides are reasonable priced .

Make sure that you have a reputatable, knowledgeable guide. They will be able to explain so much. The fort is not all open, but what is is still well-worth it. Plenty to see.

it is largely being used by the military - quite nice to see from outside but much less interesting touring around than some of the other forts i visited in India
