This was the highlight of our latest trip to Bali. We have been to Bali many times, but never did a bike trip. Yoga and his staff were absolutely fantastic. What a wonderful way to experience a Bali. The ride we took through the villages and countryside was beautiful. It was relaxing and we never felt rushed. We stopped many... More

The drive from Seminyak to the start is 1.75 hours. Treat it as a free tour though Bali! We stopped twice on the way. The coffee/spice plantation was interesting and trying about 8 different tea/coffee samples as fun! Next stop was for breakfast at a cafe with a stunning view overlooking a volcano, lake and lava field. The *only* bad... More

Bit late sending in a review - we did this day trip last October and what a fantastic day. It was a completely different Bali experience and a very relaxing way to enjoy the countryside. Wayan and Yoga answered all of our questions and kept the pace to suit all of us in the group. The meal provided by Yoga's... More

This is an awesome way to see the beautiful country side of Bali. The scenery was amazing and the tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly and hospitable.Safety of the rider is a priority with the support car behind us all the way, the mountain bikes are excellent, breakfast was amazing looking over the lake at the bottom of the volcano.Water was... This is a great way to experience Bali away from the 'busy-ness' of the urban centres. Stunning scenery, a knowledgeable and hospitalble tour guide coupled with great food, good mountain bikes and a cold towel when you need it. We toured the heights of volcano crater lakes, rice paddies - complete with an education on some ducks feeding in the... More

This activity was recommended to us by a couple that had cycled the previous day. We also wanted to do the volcano walk. Yoga our guide picked us up at 2am , drove us to the base, slept in the van while we trekked. After the trek he took us for breakfast overlooking the lake and volcano. we then began... More

Yoga was extremely informative and we enjoyed his commentary on all subjects, from the growing of rice, to the Balinese economy. We were a group of 18, comprised of adults and teenagers as well as our youngest daughter who is 9. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day and the meals were exceptional. We did not eat any dinner that night as... More

This review is looooooong overdue. My apologies to Wayan and gang. We took a bike tour with Halo Bike back in November 2011 because it is the cheapest and it seems to be managed by locals. A few days before our arrival to Bali, we texted the website hp (Wayan's) and we immediately got a reply. Wayan and gang were... More

After researching and reading several reviews, we chose Halo Bike Cycling Tours. It was an excellent decision. As other reviews state, they were very organized and professional. Cycling through small villages and past rice fields will be an experience we will never forget. Wayan, our guide was extremely personable and accommodating. We were able to stop and take photos whenever... More
