Its clean & beautiful with their black sand in the water, exceptionally great view during sundown when they have low tide. Only thing is that as it's a very tourist-ized area, they have ppl asking you if you wanna learn surfing, rent beach chairs, buy sarong, towel, bracelets etc. every 2 mins walk.

Very clean. Go for hotels near or on legian beach. Many shops around it. Surfers will enjoy this beach most.

beach is very clean, comfortable place to vacation with the people we love .. waves play a very beautiful place senorkling .. very nice view of the sea.

Great atmosphere. Good for a laugh with massages,manicures and pedicures. Good for a swim and a beer. Just good to sit back relax and watch the sights go by.

Legian Beach is a lovely flat area of beach, Good restaurants in one area. Always plenty of umbrella available to hire along with beach chairs.

Quite dirty when I visited and you are haggled every five minutes. OK for surfers but I would not recommend for beach-goers.

We stayed at the legian beach hotel overlooking the beach. It was god fun watching people sit in the beach bars. Watching the hawkers descend on them. We saw one girl sit down and within 5 mins there was five girls massaging her and two guyse selling her sunnies and dvd's. So not realy relaxing good to watch from afar.... More

walk was good but the hawkers are a pain if you want to get hassled this is the place to go, not a place to have a quiet walk

The beach is shallow, the wave is quiet. White sand is clean. A lot of beach surf rental, masseur, a lot of sunshine. Try walking at night, it is very romantic. You can spend all day in the beach and forget the time, .
