This temple is one of my favorite temple in Bali, it is beautiful and have a nice area for walking, siting and even relaxing, meditating. The bad thing, as almost in all public places in Bali, the toilet should be cleaner ...

This time i visited Pura Taman Ayun. Arrived there around 2 PM when the sun is shining and the air is very hot.. Good location to be enjoyed, however the access is very limited for a person or children which use wheel chair. No access for the wheel chair but still an outstanding place and environment to be enjoyed...

Taman Ayun literally translates as "beautiful garden" so that gives you a pretty good idea of what to expect. This temple is generally regarded as one of the most attractive temples in Bali and features a large, beautiful park with many trees, ponds, and a nearby stream. The architecture is also great and it is one of the nicest temples... More

Pura Taman Ayun you just need to drive for about 18 kilometers to the north from Denpasar city center, precisely in the midway between Denpasar and Singaraja. The site is a Royal Temple of Mengwi Dynasty built in the seventeenth century, boasting the wonderful temple building with typical roof as well as Balinese Architecture. The Pura Taman Ayun means the... More

I find this place beautiful. it is the king's park. Maybe because of the mini moat surrounding the park, the feeling of space created by the field or padang with a water fountain leading to the second layer, and the intricately decorated huts and ijok roofs in the inner court. They said there used to be lots of flowering plants... More

It used to be the palace and park of the kingdom of Mengwi. It has nice natural pools and ponds to go on wooden boats, and disappear in nature -away from the dense population of Denpasar, and see some authentic Bali style housing and palace.
