I had a look at the Ubud shelter, I would have bought some items to support the animals if the prices were reasonable. Majority of Bali is cheap, food immunisations etc so I didnt see why an anklet was $20. I do love that someone is so commited to helping these animals though!

Wow what a fantastic job these people have done . I have donated for several years and take things over when I go and I just know it all goes straight to the animals , if you have been to Bali as I have several times over the last 20 odd years you will see a massive difference in the... More

Going here was really great. The people were all very friendly and passionate about the work they are doing. When we were there they had tiny tiny kittens there and an adorable little puppy we got to play with. You can tell that the people here are doing a great job and I was very happy to be able to... Well worth supporting these guys. We checked their wish list on line before we went and took some dog collars and flea wash, which they really, really appreciated. Bought a t-shirt and felt virtuous! We were pleased to note the general health and condition of the street dogs in Ubud, much better than many parts of Asia. Bravo to BAWA!

One of the hardest things for a dog loving tourist in Bali is to see the condition of the street dogs. BAWA does a great job helping these guys out. Thanks!

We went to Bali with the intention of visiting BAWA and took a day trip to Ubud armed with a bag full of purchases we had made in australia to help the animals. Somehow we stopped at BAWA's clinic first rather than the shop, but the volunteers were still happy to take our supplies. It was a busy morning with... More

One of the main places I wanted to visit was BAWA. I just want to say a huge thank you to the kind souls behind this association. Thank you for caring for these helpless animals and making a difference to Bali. If you are an animal lover and visiting Bali, please drop by and help what you can. I have... More
