It's breathtakingly beautiful, surrounded by beautiful tea plantations. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you are also visiting Kawah Putih nearby.

Taking a boat to go round the tranquil lake is a real enjoyment especially when the rain has just stopped and there is a thin layer of mist floating on the surface of the lake. Romantic!

In the mountainous region south of Bandung, there lies a tranquil lake amidst tea plantations. People in this area believe that long-long time ago, there was a couple who were grown together. They were parted, but because of love, they keep searching for each other. And they meet here in Batu Cinta (Love stone). It is said that a couple... More

It is nature, nature is always wonderfull. Never terrible, because its not man made. Everything, even the smallest rock or dust i our shoes are far more interesting then 100th story tall building. Man made machinary fascinate me no more...

this lake is quite large, but i see it as an average lake. nothing too special about it. just a lake. fits for family picnic. its just too crowded sometimes. get a boat and row yourself to the middle to enjoy the whole lake

We enjoyed the tea farm scenery and the weather. However, I don't get it why do we have to pay to enter the tea farm and the lake since again you have to make another payment for water sport activities. Again, the place was over-crowded and we didn't find the "batu cinta' fascinating at all.

The lake is surrounded by the tea plantation farm, and the scenery is sooooooooooo nice when we look from the up hill... OMG, and the breeze make us lively! Boats are rented to go through the lakeside... A relaxing place to visit... The strawberries sold are so fresh and sweet! And we are able to get a packet of strawberry... More

When you go to Situ Patengan, don't find any luxury things. It's realy nature and you will find a nature things. Unfortunately there is no good hotel surrounding. Restaurant is good enough otherwise there is no international branding restaurant too. Nice place if you wanna go and escape from your town
