It was quite hot when we got there and then it started raining. Suddenly all the hidden tortoises started coming out and we were in awe! We loved playing with the giant tortoises and was definitely an experience of a lifetime!

If you go to Curieuse, be sure to spend time with the tortoises, but also be sure to take the trail all the way to the other side of the island where the beach is fabulous and we had a wonderful swim after about a 30 minute hike. It surely worth it to take a daytour here. You can do some nice snorkling and walking here. The turtoises are nice, we fed them watermelon. Meeting the tortoises - the walk through the Mangroves and the stunning beaches! The bbq organised on the beach was delicious and snorkeling was amazing.

The Doctor's House has some interesting info on the island and the Seychelles in general, which was interesting. You can also see some giant tortoises, coco de mer palms and spend some time walking through mangroves. We visited as part of a tour group but it is definitely manageable on your own as the paths were well marked.
