Another beautiful example (yet not so big) of Khmer architecture of the "Greater Khmer Kingdom" stretching over most of what we now call Cambodia, Thailand, Laos and Vietnam. This prasat is a bit out of the way but there are good signs to get there. It is south-west of Khon Kaen city.

This sacred Hindu temple is free to the traveller and has three brick pagodas and fabulous carved doors. Make sure you travel in the cooler season as it can be very hot climing through the ruins
