"Agzikara Hani" caravansary was built in the roadside of the "silk road" in the 13th century to provide food, water and rest to all the travelers covering this route and therefore supporting the commerce.
We went with our tour guide and it was great...she explained all the interesting facts: living space as kitchen, rooms, bathrooms, annex building for praying...

This "castle" type building was built during the 13th century as a resting place for the merchants travelling the Silk Road. The entrance is ornate and leads into a courtyard surrounded by rooms which were used as kitchens, washrooms, bedrooms and for storage of the goods that were being traded.
