Busy and with some lovely restaurants to sit and relax and watch the world go buy. Reasonable prices and plenty of trips available from here also. You can also go over to Rhodes for the day and the journey takes approx 90 minutes.

Fethiye has a nice promenade area but no beach as I could see. Otherwise it is just another working turkish town with plenty of shops and restaurants. Downside, you are always being persuaded to buy goods at 'special price etc.' and seldom allowed to browse without being pestered.

Four of us went on a last minute cruise from Fetiyhe round the islands stopping for swims and taking walks. The food was great, cooked by the friendly, efficient, and professional Sunny and Ahmet, alcohol prices were very fair, the cabins were small but comfortable.

good shopping area ..easy access to Dolomoosh buses ..beware of rip off restaurants in fish market they will try and sell you fish and wine at extortionate prices
Loved this large town, bustling markets and harbour. Nothing not too like, locals friendly offering drinks and great company. This is a working town and you can watch the ships being built in the harbour. The fish Market was a delight. Select your fish and get it cooked in the restaurant of your choice.
The place itself was absolutely stunning, and worth seeing especially at end of April beginning of May as it is very reasonably priced, but everything else was average.
I enjoyed looking around the market on a Tuesday but the pressure from the traders became a little wearing, remember to barter starting at 25% of the price you want to eventually pay, if you get it lower, result!!
My f avorıte place where one can choose a quıet nıght or a very lıvely party. The town does not attract the teenage party monsters of Marmarıs and ıs suıtable for famılıes and those of not so young years. But for the young at heart there are many places where party anımals are catered for
Plenty of restaurants, we tried Fethiye Koftecesi and Saray Lokantasi, both very good. walk around and definitely go to the Tuesday market, it is awesome!!! Tuesday market has so many people in Fethiye in a huge market area selling a vast variety of things. I got some sweets to take back home, turkish delight...interesting people..cool off after you walk around to...
