Just like Venice "the Italian city" but in small size, more restaurant facing the water & you can move by the boats in the Chanel. Kids can play & ride a similar to London eye. You need good time to go since the weather is difficult there in summer.

Shalbeek Restaurant used to have excellent service but now, unless you are Russian, you will be seated and ignored. In fact you can sit and sit until these people have been served, then you ASK to be served. This area could have some really classy restaurants but seems to have sold out to ones where things are fast.
the food and the ride was fun, it is a little boring, i went more than once and there is really nothing to do there unless you have kids or to eat. but the restaurants are great and unless you want to go for a nice walk and enjoy the scenery, thats all there basically is to do for adults...

Beautiful location with lots of restaurants. Setting is lovely and there are boat rides and the Eye of the Emirates.
its where your family can have the best time for half day. there are lots resturants, cafes, shops, Sharjah Eye, kids area & Masjid, all of that on a small canal joining Khalid's Lake with AlKhan Lagoon. best timing to go there between Oct - Mar with lots of festivals happening in these period.
Al Qasba is straddles either side of the canal that links Al Khan Lagoon with Khalid Lagoon. There are many restaurants and amusement areas and the Eye of the Emirates Ferris Wheel. There are also frequent Abra trips around Al Khan Lagoon, we went on an Abra around the Lagoon and it was good fun and reasonably priced at 15...

Children can play with the fountains, different attractions, one of them is The Eye Of The Emirates, which is the tallest in Asia nowadays. Tickets` prices are 30 Dh for adults and 15 Dh for children. There are numerous cafe, restaurants. Also teenagers can play football on the football playground.
A very lovely place to go to during the evening with plenty of cofee bars and restaurants. Yes there is a ferris wheel that resembles the London Eye and fairgrounds for children. There is a canal that runs right through it but you can lovely photos of this with the Sharjah skyscapers. the only issue is that it is pain...

It is in a beautiful location on the lagoon and is often host to cultural and entertainment events (like the Sharjah Light Festival). My main complaint is that it is so dang hard to get to. The traffic in that area...
