Very professional cooking school. The market tour was fine, but a bit basic. The recipes though were really good. We cooked wonderful crispy pancakes and some great dumplings. Our teacher was very sweet and a little eccentric, which kept everyone engaged and enthusiastic. A really fun morning, and you leave with you belly full.

This demo is good for beginners who have little or no exposure to Vietnamese food. Vy is a savvy business woman who pushes her other restaurants and cookbooks in the class. It is less about learning how to cook and more broadly intro to Vietnamese food. It also goes on for a long time, 8:30-1:30.
