This is very small museum, I would not take small children to it, you would take advantage of the museum by taking someone to translate what's display, otherwise there isn't much English around. My wife and i visited this Museum whilst we were on a Far East Cruise, and happened upon the Museum when we were out walking. This experience gives you first hand accounts of what happened to these students and teachers during the war. There's much English material, but one could benefit from having a Japanese interpreter.

This Memorial Museum is a very solemn reminder of the War in the Pacific and one that should not be missed in a tour of Okinawa.
