I stopped off here on a tour on my way to the equally awful elephant "sanctuary" . Whilst the deers and small rabbits seem quite happy and well cared for there are other very miserable looking animals all caged with barely any space or company. The worst thing is the sad bears and at the end they have over fed... More

Stopped off here for an hour during a fantastic Viator-booked private tour to the elephant orphanage very close by (which also took in Batu Caves and local silk painting which was interesting, and local lunch.) The private tour guide, Michael, (who was brilliant the whole day) paid the entrance fee out of the fee we'd already paid (which was expensive... More

We arrived to Deerland on the way from elephant sanctuary (2 km from it). It was a bit of a strange experience. A zoo keeper gave us a bowl with food to feed a group of deers in their pen and an ostrich. There were also some other type of tame deers, including a tiny mouse deer. The keeper also... More

I recently visited Kuala Gandha Elephant sanctuary and read about Deerland which is only 3 Kms from KG sanctuary. There is a RM 10 entrance fee which includes bowl of feed for the deers and also some carrot strips for the rabbits. My kids (4 yr old and 1 yr old) did enjoy all that. The entire round of Deerland... More

Entrance fee MYR10 and provided a bowl of longbeans for you feed those deers. A small place with small quantity of deers and species. Not worth to visit if you are in very small group and not driving. 1-2 hours duration.

deer feeding is the main attraction. there are also a few other deer species within the park along with several other animals. this park could be better maintained and more species of animals for educational purposes. if you are on a tour to visit the nearby elephant sanctuary, this is a nice additional visit if time allows.

We dropped by deerland, located in Bukit Rengit Lanchang, Pahang, after we visited the elephant sanctuary. We were given cut potatoes to feed the deer through their fence. If the kids are at certain height, they are allowed to feed the deers inside the fence. However, you may not one to take the risk since the hungry deers would actually... More

for a small fee of US$3 you get to feed deers-they provide the food, physically interact with them, a guide to take you around and also physically interact with small animals including pythons, scenic wetlands, great vegetation around, several birds from other asian countries. this is 2 hours from Kuala Lumpur, in the state of Pahang in Lanchang. take plenty... this is the 4th time and i was extremely disappointed to find out that the honey bear is no longer around. it was seized by the malaysian wildlife and national park superiors. some complained that the bear was unwell kept and it was taken away. i think the bear was kept well and fed well. it even gave birth to... I find it difficult to imagine any 'positive' reviews on here are anything but propaganda by parties with a vested interested in this park. The negative reviewers here are correct - I've written elsewhere regarding this park and can't believe nothing has been done about it yet. The deer seemed to be okay as they're relatively easy to care for,... More
