There is boardwalk leading into the forest. Not dangerous at all if keep your trek on the boardwalk. Liked the fresh air and foggy atmosphere in the forest.
The walk was quite good. It provided a pretty high view of the area around but unfortunately, there wasn't a return loop. So one would have to return via the same route which made it a little boring. The fauna there isn't as fantastic as those you can find in temperate countries such as Australia but the walk has sufficient... More

Sign up Adventure tour (half day) from C.S Travel & Tour. Tour guide is very knowledgeable. He shown us type of plants and surrounding information.
I only read about the place from foreign visitors to the highlands & my visit there was only accidental because the famed tea plantation was close on Monday. Driving up is not an issue, just use a reliable vehicle, the road is good, Trekking is recommendable only if you don have a lot of times to kill in Cameron Highlands.... More
Abode tea estates, there's a small countryside. If you stay in Kuala Lumpur kinda city-side, you need occasional breaks to places like Cameron Highlands. I know i will enjoy the tour from start to end....and I did.The look out tower at Gunung Brincang (next to TNB Tower) is narrow but manageable. Our guide was really good and funny. While explaining about the plants and flowers...he... More
We arrived at the entrance of the Mossy Forest walk at around noon, after a visit to the Sg Palas BOH tea plantation. The turn off to the road leading to the Mossy Forest did not have any signage to indicate and we had to use the GPS and gut feel to get there. The only signboard was one to... More
Probably the best thing about Cameron HIghlands - a trip to the Mossy Forest in Gunung Brinchang. I was there early in the morning and found myself strolling through a misty fantasy where the trees were covered in moss so thick the moss made structures of their own. Little details like dew drops on cobwebs enhance the wonder of the... More
