It took a few wrong turns before we found this beautiful temple. However, it was worth it to spend a pleasant half hour wondering through the cool chambers, gazing up at the large bronze figures. Monkeys with babes were playing on branches nearby and swifts were swooping around the entrance. It does look a little tired and you must be... More

15 min from the centre of Ipoh town. This temple cave used to be impressed and lively in the 80s-90s. Now it is just poorly maintained with some parts closed off due to lack of visitors. It's like a place of the 80s and totally forgotten by the locals. Run down and nothing to else to see besides the courtyard... More

This is a very impressive cave temple with a lovely park behind. The geologic features are superb! Watch out for the monkeys and the mosquitoes.

Kek Look Tong was the best of the 2 we saw (the other being Sam Po Tong) - a cave temple inside Limestone Rocks. Quiet, serene and green, it also had a back garden, pebbled walk ways, a large lawn, monkeys and enough for photo ops! All in all, a nice place to go, and takes about 30 minutes there,... More

The place is in need of repairs and management! I feels that better toilets is top priority, and the temples are not well organised, you see clusters everywhere. The tortoise pond needs cleaning, it stinks badly and I pity the residents.

The views and feeling of peace incredible. The place where Anna and the King was made, the caves are like a huge cathedral plus the tapes of chanting Monks.

We visited Perak and Kek Lok Caves which seem to be the most popular. It was worth the stop in Ipoh to see the beautiful, natural caves, paintings and statues and natural beauty surrounding both.

U can reach to the peak of hill (>180m) to enjoy the windy atmosphere & average bird-eye view scenery.

For those who love mystery and culture, I'd suggest a visit to this temple. Plenty of beautiful deities!
