Likes? lovely things to see , collected by discerning people.
Dislikes? being forbidden to take photos, seeing others taking them -without a "permit" and being ignored!
Also being forced to "stay with the tour" while others wandered at will! Did I forget to bribe the guide?

One of the must see sights in Georgetown. Take the tour which last about 1 hour and see for yourself.

I loved the tour guide, he was so so SO passionate about this house and its history, the tour is fairly long (over 1 hour) but it was fascinating to sit and listen the whole time. There are only 3 tours a day, so you have to check the times ahead and get there at the right time.

The historical tour was interesting and provided a nice background to the house. I wish they talked more about the owner of the house instead of the restoration of the house.

There are 3 guided tour per day (11am, 1,30pm and 3pm). There is very good explanation on the mansion architecture and also some story of the original owner.
Been there 2 times, to bring friends there.
If you like Chinese & Nyonya Baba Architecture and history, you will like this place.
It is like a museum.
There is a boutique...

Our tour guide had a great sense of humor and covered many cultural aspects of fengshui, numerology, and a very human story in her tour. This mansion brought to life the story it's owner and the immigration pattern of the Chinese to Malaysia.
