The cat museum is just plain weird. Everything from cat photos to cat ornaments to stuffed cats and cat grave stones is on display. Seemed quite popular but not for me. Nice location though!

It's small muzeum that some may wish to give a miss. May appeal to children with gaye many cat figurines. No real cat here. Just figurines and paintings of cats
I did enjoy the visit. Nothing much to see except lots of cat arts in differents countries, cats statue, history and some information about Kuching city. Most of the visitors and my hubby even asked questions like where are the living cats? It might be more interesting to have some of them around.
I'm a dog lover, but, how can i say that I've visited Kuching w/o going to their cat museum? A great place to go if you're a cat lover.
Got conned into going to this one. Thousands of ceramic cats, paintings of cats, photos of cats ....... Only for dedicated cat lovers
I'd give this museum 2 stars for what it claims. But I have given it three stars for what it really is.
On the surface a pretty poor cat museum, with an eclectic mix of the mundane, the kitsch, and everything ephemeral.
Dig little deeper though and the museum gives a fascinating insight into Malaysian hierarchy, politics and the relationship...

A bit far away from Kuching city center. But definitely worth your time to visit. Not really a museum but is like a collection about cat. The collection from musics, songs, movies, decoration, handicraft, poster, toys, drawing, souvenir, artist, poem, foods, and many more. Alternatively, you can visit Kuching weekend Bazaar after the visit.
even a cat lover expect gaining nothing much here.situated halfway to sarawak cultural village at dbku building ground floor.
The Cat Museum is on the opposite side of the Sarawak River on the top of Bukit Siol hill, so the views from up here looking out over Kuching are beautiful. We did not really know what to expect here but as we are cat lovers we thought it would be interesting!
Well this place is huge with over 2000...

We went to visit The Cat Museum while we stayed in Kuching;)
KUCHING in Malay means Cat;)
I would recommend to rent a motorbike to get there,as is 15 min drive from main city,on the other side of river.
We are not big fans of cats but we kind of like it over there;)
They have on display I think...
