I enjoy physics and learning about the universe so I was pleasantly surprised by this museum/attraction because it was very factual and the learning was very kinaesthetic in nature. It was good for kids (there were groups of school children enjoying themselves) but the explanations and information provided was still technical enough for adults to be interested and engaged. There... More

As two adults even we found it very educational! There are hoardes of schoolkids having a great time, exploring all the exhibits which are well designed. Entry into the museum is free, but you have to pay for the films as below: The short films shown in the planetarium are also good, well worth the RM12 per person to watch.

The area there is full of attraction like the KL bird park, he orchid park, etc. So a quick detour through the planetarium is a great idea to cool down from the massive humid heat! Entrance is free but you will have to pay a decent cover fee if you want to attend a planetarium session. They are in English... More

After wandering the area I found the national planetarium. I was surprised when I found out that admission was free. There are a bunch of interesting displays inside for anybody interested in "space stuff". There are also free shows in the theatre throughout the day. Don't forget to check out the view at the top!

We have to pay for every show but the ticket seller never told us in advance. No lift/escalator to reach so I don't think handicap citizen or senior citizen is welcome. I have knee injuries and it took me 20mins to climb up. A lot of equipment is out of order and we can't see the result of those experiment.... More

The display were not updated, and some of the exhibits were not in working order. The lower ground area (interactive section) was under maintainance, so was the observation deck.

There are many cool experiments that you can try in the gallery, such as generating your own lightning, aurora, hurricane, etc. Admission is free! (gallery only)
