There is no entry to the main park which includes the fountains. The smaller side gardens are only 10 pesos each. Unfortunately the fountains weren't working while I was there but the atmosphere was lovely and relaxing.

Nice park located in the center of Ermita in Manila. Close to restaurants, shopping, etc. Close to US Embassy too.
nice place for a walk and picture taking, it wasn't long ago this area was really run down and full of beggars. now its a must see for a walk and to learn history of the area. Try and get there early morning or early evening before dark these times are cooler and less people. stay away on weekends
It was a lot smaller than I expected but it is a pretty park and a nice break from walking around a very busy and built up city. There are a lot of little sections like the Chinese garden, chess playing section where locals play loads of chess games and it's nice to sit down and watch the world go...

I was there inthe 35 degree days of early June - great to have some shade, open spaces and the big statue or their 'hero'. Playground for kids nearby, so is Museum - but that was closed on Mondays.

We included...

The Rizal Park, also known as the Luneta park, has greatly improved over time. I like how the keepers have maintained the place as a wonderful tourist spot. It has been known as a spot for family picnics and lovers' meeting place, but they were able to maintain its cleanliness. It's also amazing how the men guarding Rizal's monument are...

Even in my school day we studied about Jose Rizal, which has very much to do with the declaration of Philippine Independence from American rule. Its walking distance from the popular Manila Bay near in Ermita district. Here you can find the Rizal Monument, the national hero.
We dropped by this place last January , when we had to walk and cool down from drinking. It is much appreciated during night time, since there are few people hanging out, very quiet and calm. The whole place is still okay and you can still notice the maintenance that the people are doing in this place. I just hope...
