They seem to have collected lots of pots from the sea bed, and put them in every available space even the chapel . It would have been nice to have seen what the rooms would have been like instead of being filled with pots. Still go and see its worth a visit

Very good displays but watch out for lunch times as some of the rooms are closed for lunch !! Cost to get in to the museum was reasonable and this also allows you access to the castle and grounds.

This famous museum is very nice, but we found it a little bit small. The museum is in the tower of Bodrum (for the same price).

Amazing finds and excellent display and coverage. The only disappointment was that the Manchester University research was not on display.

Underwater archeology exhibits are often small and stuffed into corners of larger museums. The collaboration between the museum and St. Peter's Castle is a very effective one. The museum has a lot of room to spread out, making the exhibits easy and fun to see. And hosting them in a building of the era puts the recovered objects into the... More

We stumbled upon the archeological museum whilst actually looking for Bodrum Castle. It is slightly confusing as it seems they are one and the same. The entrance price of TL20 per head includes entrance to the castle as well and represents good value. There is a great deal to see so allow plenty of time for the visit. There are... More

Interesting site specific history, and great views over two harbors. Even though the museum is supposed to open at 8:30 am some of the more interesting exhibits do not open until 10:00am.

The castle is centuries old and the artefacts on display have been discovered from underwater wrecks from many centuries ago. Some were even as old as 100 B.C. Even without the exhibits the Castle is worth a visit. The views of the coastline are amazing and the descriptive leaflet is very informative. The peacocks in the courtyard are quite entertaining...
