This little village(if that is the correct word-maybe touristic settlement) has its `pros` at the lovely Ionian sea, the islands opposite the little beaches (with imported sand from white rocks as you can find on the Ionian coast) that look so cute while there are not much swimmera/sunbathers and the(still) low prices that are offered. The `cons` will be the... More

Went there after our visit to Butrini. I think it's the best place in Albania. Such a magical place- beautiful beaches and very friendly people.

While beeing on vacation in Saranda we have visited Ksamil, a small village. Arriving there is no eazy at all thanks to the bad road, but after arriving on its beaches you instantly forget everything. The water is one of the cleqaniest I have seen in my life and the beach is sandy and beautiful for walking. There are also... More

The Ksamil Village is located between the City of Sarande and the ancient city of Butrint. You can go there by bus from Sarande, it's about 15 minutes. Although it has a great potential becoming a great destination due to the rare beauty of its 2 little islands across the beachline, the natives got it all wrong to my opinion.... More

We took a taxi from Sarande (about 15-20 min). There are several small beaches and restaurants in the area. There are a few hotels at the moment, but it looked like they were building new ones. I quiet place now, but my guess is this will be the new cheap-charter destination in the years to come. For now - stay... More

Ksamil is a dream! We have been there several times for bathing, good food, good drinks, and just enjoy this wonderful place. At night you can sit on a restaurant on the beach and se the sun go down in the ocean, you really sholuld try it!

For me this was the nicest seaside spot in Albania. This place is very low key, not a high rise resort like some being built, the beaches are very small coves, with sand, not the pebbles of much of the Albanian Riveria, you can easily walk from one to another. The area was fairly clean, litter can be a very... More

I 've spent a week at Ksamil village. Although the weather and the see were magnificent we encountered a very unfriendly staff from the" Bar Restoran". Before we reached the beach where you may rent a "beach parasol" we were stopped by an arrogant “Parasol man” called Lindi by the words “There is not a beach parasol for you.” You... More
