Nada, nothing special except the palaces of the rich. Rainy day, not much to do, drove around and saw some fancy restaurants but not much, weather did not help, i only saw one access to the beach but it might have more, if you are looking for some laid back beach this is not your place.

It's a long strech of sand, with flat sea. At the day of my visit the water was not particularly clear, and it was windy. The beach is most known for its sophisticated condos and night life, but if you are looking for betaiful nature, there are best options

Clean beach with family atmosphere. Really enjoyable place to spend the day. No public services though...

Upscale condominiums and a narrow stretch of crowded beach. Jurere Int'l has a Mediaterean feel and it is completely differnt than the rest of the island. We cruised the main boulevard and visited by foot two open shopping plazas. It's recommended to drive all the way down to Praya de Forte for the nice scenery.

If I can say something will be typical Brazilian. They love to be in the show of rich and famous, even though the place is not that great, it has a nice pool, a beautiful white sand beach and nice people. This is an exclusive place in Florianopolis. There is an Open Shopping Center that is very similar to the ones I've seen in Florida. The prices are a bit higher than the rest of the island. This is most exclusive praya that i have come across. There are a lot of beautiful villas with nice architecture on the back. Dislike many other beaches on the island, this is very clean: there are bins everywhere and signals to use the "lixo". The praya gathers the wealthy south americans.

very seasonal, super busy and expensive in season, dead at all other times! all clubs located nearby in one place and gets very crowded. lovely beach and il campanario hotel amazing..
