Bairro das Fontainhas - It still maintains its Portuguese influence. Walk along the narrow streets, with old colourful villas and enjoy the old ambience, Portuguese style!
This place located in the heart of the capital city of Panjim is slightly hard to find but once you're there its a photographer's dream. We spent the whole day walking through this colonial style neighbourhood clicking pictures and having snacks and tea at the local cafe.It was a memorable experience.
The buildings here are of colonial Portuguese style. The back streets are fairly quite and there are a few nice shops, restaurants and galleries dotted around. It is only a short walk into the main square and you can easily get to most places on foot.
Piece of portuguese colonial architecture with local colorite. Not very easy to find, only sixth driver knew location when we were some 7 mins walk from there. Make sure your guide is good before going to Panjim
