You can't blame any visitor to Kerala for setting high expectations from this place after he/she has visited beautiful beaches (Varkala and Kovallam) and scenic backwaters of Alleppey. This place, in my opinion, does not quite matches the standard of other places in Kerala, but still it's very beautiful in its own ways. First of all, most of the tea-gardens... More

Acres of tea gardens. Great to see this as you drive around on the undulating hilly roads. One can relax in the serenity of the greenery.

Truly awesome trip. The road that leads to the tea estate is only fit for 4 wheelers or jeeps. We made our trip in a jeep that was arranged by the hotel we stayed at(Devonshire greens). It's a really bumpy ride but really fun, my dad who has back problems was absolutely fine even after the round trip to kolukkumalai... More

The destination was really awesome and we enjoyed a lot and special about this place is it’s a big tea plantation. Lots of tourist visit this place. As we walk past the green tea gardens and click pictures with an occasional waterfall amidst the mountains, you realize that the trip is definitely not enough! You need to come back again!

The drive is awesome and truly spectacular with breathtaking views. An awesome hill station in Kerela. They even give you a tour and tell you so much about teas. I think it had some of the best prices of tea available in India.

For most of us city dwellers, This is out of the world experience. Never seen such a large tract of tea plantations. Will give you a high that you will remember for a life time. The touch , feel and the smell of tea gardens is very exotic.

Although I had seen many pictures of the tea gardens, but seeing them so close was completely different. It was as if someone had spread a green carpet everywhere you could see. Beautiful experience!

Continuous tea plantations were attractive and scenic. Couldnt move out of the field once going there. Was able to touch the clouds while on mountain view tea fields. Had a wonderful experience. Worth visiting
