Visited the island for 2days after the very touristy koh Lanta.
It was very quiet, and I mean very. Almost nothing going on on the whole Island, but if that is your thing then go for it.
I would advise avoiding the large hotels (where the boat may drop you off) and finding the quieter ones as they are much...

Very quiet laid back island. No big resorts here just small groups og bungalows on the beautiful beaches.
Just loved Ko Jum, beautiful stretch of beach, stayed at woodlands, all great, but lots of other options. Great island to enjoy the beach, walking and or push bike riding, food and fantastic friendly hospitality. Just a magic place with so many beach front accom. options - all ranges of price. An interesting mix of cultures, loved watching all the...

Stayed here after a week in Phi Phi, we originally planned on staying two days, this turned into a week. Its soooooooo quiet and relaxed. We took a long tail from Phi Phi to Ko Jum which cost us 2,500b and left at 07:30am, the journey took just over an hour.
Places to stay -
Joy Bungalows - 650b to...

When we were there, there was hardly any tourists there. We'd like a walk along the beach and meet 2 locals and one tourist for the entire walk. It was absolutely gorgeous, until a trash ship coming from Phi Phi dumped out in the water, resulting in lots of trash wash-up on Ko Jum's beach. Nevertheless, Ko Jum's like paradise.
Ko Jum is a nice little island with less tourists. They are less restaurants and less shops. If you want to calm down: This is the right place.
Spent a week here after a week in Koh Lanta and whilst in comparison it is much quieter, we loved every minute of it.
We stayed on koh jum for 3 days. I loved it. One of my favourite places in Thailand. I will go back there next time I am back in Thailand. It is very relaxing and quiet. The beach is out the front of most accom. I would recommend the jungle hill bungalows. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The...

Exclusive, shallow water, wonderful accomodation, lovely people. You have to make an effort to visit, but it is so well rewarded. Cannot wait to return.
