Pretty island come tourist trap, what a shame. The best time to have a quite walk around is in the morning before all the day tripper per boats arrive. Its a bustling transit point and very tourist oriented, nothing genuinely Thai anymore but simply a money spinner.

It is a lovely beach -- wide and long -- but be ready to share it with a huge throng. The best time to visit is, perhaps, in the morning, when most of the crowd is still asleep from the late night partying and drinking the night before.

Overpriced, dirty, polluted. But, none of that would have mattered had it not been for the way we were treated by the locals. Unlikely to avoid as most ferries and transfers operate from here. A tourist trap of note with few redeeming qualities. Catch your ferry and stay away otherwise!

ok the water here looked nice but, there was so much rubbish in the water it was disgusting! we saw a tampon in the water and other plastic bags and bottles and bug rubbish items on the beach floor. yucky!

Expensive, crowded and dirty is the town. The beach by day is actually quite nice by night it could be any 'Western' strip on a Med island. Loud, tacky and full of drunk teens. Feels more like the West end in Ibiza or Tenegrief. Will be exploring the other islands, won't be coming back here.

prepare to be haggled. You cannot walk a metre without a tout calling out to you. Boats alle over the bay. Very touristy and busy. Not very charming. But beautiful seen from the water when you aaproach. The wiewpoint is beautiful, but crowded. And we were charged to get there. Not much, I think it was 20 bath each but it seemed odd having to pay to walk to the top of a hill.
